With his first two books, Dream Work (1983 - Paulist Press) and Where People Fly And Water Runs Uphill (1992 - Warner Books – out of print), Jeremy Taylor introduced us his work in exploring dreams with an eye to their deeper meanings. LIVING LABYRINTH takes his work process of self-empowerment dream one step further, encouraging dreamers to seek the meaning of dreams, not just in the personal significance but also in the transpersonal, archetypal symbols and metaphors that appear in our dreams as well as in waking life. This book explores the deep, recurring patterns of meaning and symbol that appear in both individual dreams and shared, collective stories such as myths and folktales. Illustrations and diagrams drawn by the author make the book visually appealing as well as intellectually stimulating.

Author's Profile:
Dr. Jeremy Taylor, a Unitarian Universalist minister, has worked with dreams for over 40 years. He blends the values of spirituality with an active social conscience and a Jungian perspective. In the late 60's, while doing community organizing in Oakland, CA, and in the early 70's, as Director of Marin County (CA) Headstart, he discovered that dreams were a tool for both personal and social change. Since then Jeremy has taught thousands how to work with their dreams in groups and individually. He teaches at many colleges, universities and seminaries, and has led workshops all over the world. He is one of four founders of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and served as it's president 1994-95. Jeremy is also a published poet and prize-winning screenplay author. He lives near the Napa Valley in California.
