Harriette Madyson is the last woman alive. Twenty years ago her world came to an end when a zombie plague engulfed the population of Earth. At the tender age of seven she found herself in a nightmarish situation where the dead literally returned to life. Left with little to use and nowhere to hide Harri now finds herself stalked across the frozen desolate landscape of North America pursued by the former love of her life. All that she has to keep her going is the hope that she can make it home to die in peace.

"Totally amazed me by being so down to earth, you felt as though it was you going through it all. Read over a couple of nights, didn't want it to finish. Excellent book - buy it!"
--K. Smith, 15th March 2011 on

"Brilliant book - love it, well worth a read if Zombies are your thing. ." --Martin Belcher, 17th September 2011 on

"I'm not normally one for horror, but this book has got me hooked! I read it cover to cover in two evenings. Well worth the money. Can't wait for the next one." --Rachael, April 29th 2011 on

Amazing book! I just finished reading it and I have to say that you defiantly achieve a strong emotional feel to the book. Very touching story and it made me feel like I was there. --Jeremy Lawson, 30th May 2011 via E-Mail

"Having started I couldn't put it down, it really is a good drama/thriller with plenty of back story, I liked the second book slightly more that the first but it is definitely good value for money " -- Matt700, Spetember 7th 2011 via

Author's Profile:
Lee Emerick born July 1982, is an author based in Staffordshire, England.
Married and a father of three, Lee enjoys writing in the little spare time he has available.
Keenly interested in the genres of Sci-Fi and Horror, Lee is looking to expand his horizons and move into the Crime/thriller genre with his latest work 'The Mind of a Killer'

After several failed attempts at writing a book, Lee finally succeeded in 2009 when he released Super Nova. A book of the Sci-Fi genre, Lee took the inspiration from his favorite films and based the characters entirely on his friends.
A sequel was soon to follow titled Mechanical Jihad, which was influenced by the Dune series.
Moving on from Sci-Fi, Lee entered the Horror genre with Extinction Theory in 2010. Pleased with the outcome, Lee decided to take horror further with 20 Years after the Zombie Apocalypse being a cross between the genres horror and post apocalyptic.
After publishing 20 Years after the Zombie Apocalypse, Lee quickly followed it with the sequel Survival after the Zombie Apocalypse.
His latest book, Mind of a Killer was released at the end of October 2011. Yet again Lee expanded his horizons by writing in the crime genre.
